# Voice and UI copy

> How Okrado words its interface in English, French and Arabic.

The persona is a senior operator explaining clearly: concrete, calm, no hype.

1. One idea per sentence.
2. Numbers carry a source or are left out.
3. Show the mechanism, not the adjective.
4. Short words over long ones; active voice.

## By language

| Aspect | English | French | Arabic |
| ---------- | ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------- |
| Address | plain, “you” | clair, direct, **vous** | modern standard Arabic |
| Typography | sentence case | real accents; a non-breaking space before `; : ! ?` and inside « » | Readex Pro, right to left |

## Buttons and errors

- A button is a verb plus an object: “Save changes”, “Enregistrer les modifications”. Never “Submit”.
- An action keeps one name through the whole flow: the button says “Publish”, the toast says “Published”.
- An error says what happened and what to do. It does not apologise and is never vague.
- An empty screen is an invitation to act.

All strings live in `messages/{en,fr}.json` with the same keys; an Arabic file ships when the zone ships Arabic.
